Biography

Dr. Lo is graduated from The Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She obtained her Fellowship from Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Dr. Lo attended overseas training in Paediatric Cardiology in Royal Brompton Hospital in UK. After then, through what she learned in Paediatric Cardiology as a foundation, Dr. Lo continues deepening her knowledge and skills, expanding her scope of her special interest in echocardiography, and giving patients’ care. She is working closely with the colleagues from General Paediatric Cardiology, Neonatal Unit, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Unit in Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH). She also shares the care of adult patients having history of congenital heart diseases with adult cardiologists.

Dr. Lo is currently the Associate Consultant in PWH. Dr. Lo strongly believes that the best patient care is achieved by “learning from others, sharing with each other, and excelling herself”.

• Working with Dr. CHAU Kai Tong Adolphus, Clinical Director in Paediatrics, CUHKMC - echo assessment, including use of strain in survivors of childhood cancers

• Undergraduate teaching for medical students

• Postgraduate teaching for medical colleagues on topics including paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, etc.
