The Department of Paediatrics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong is delighted to announce that registration for Paediatric BASIC Course is now open!

📅Date: 7 & 8 February 2026 (Sat & Sun)

This internationally recognised, two-day programme provides a comprehensive introduction to the essential principles of paediatric emergency and critical care. The course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required for the ongoing management of critically ill children following resuscitation and stabilisation. Through a combination of lectures, skill stations, and interactive workshops, candidates will gain practical, evidence-based insights into core critical care practices.

We are honoured to welcome distinguished overseas faculty, including Dr. Bruce Lister (Australia), the founding editor and developer of the Paediatric BASIC Course, and Dr. Angela Aramburo, Consultant Paediatric Intensivist at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals (United Kingdom). They will be joined by local faculty comprising adult intensivists and paediatric intensive care doctors.
