Biography

Dr. Enoch So is an Associate Consultant and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Paediatrics at Prince of Wales Hospital and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a special interest in paediatric cardiology. He provides expert care in Kawasaki disease, fetal cardiology, congenital heart disease, and haemodynamics in intensive care.

After reading medicine at the University of Hong Kong, Dr. So completed paediatrics fellowship and cardiology training at Prince of Wales Hospital and Hong Kong Children’s Hospital. He further specialized with an Honorary Clinical Fellowship in Fetal Cardiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, under the mentorship of world-renowned Prof. Julene Carvalho.

His research on Kawasaki disease led to the development of the CUHK-Kawasaki Disease Scoring System (CUHK-KD), earning several professional awards. Dr. So holds accreditation in Congenital Heart Disease Echocardiography (EACVI), serves as Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Society of Paediatric Cardiology, and is active on several professional committees. His achievements have been recognized by accolades including the Distinguished Young Fellow Award (Hong Kong Academy of Medicine), Young Achiever’s Award (Hospital Authority, New Territories East Cluster), and HM Lui Fellowship (Hong Kong College of Paediatricians).

Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. So worked as a senior analyst at a global pharmaceutical company in Australia and was awarded a University Medal in Bioinformatics from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
